RS Feva Coach Clinic training course 2018

Dear Coach Colleagues!

The Hungarian RS Feva events – the RS Feva Hungarian Championship, the RS Feva International Camp&Clinic, and the RS Feva Eurocup -, are going to be held at Balatonfüred between 27th July and 4th August 2018. The program series is an outstanding opportunity for us to represent the prominent role of the RS Feva class. Currently, 47 RS Feva boats are registered in Hungary from which 38 are in the ownership of associations that trains young sailors. In terms of the future of the RS Feva class, it is the basic interest of children, associations, and the class-association to have more highly educated coaches in Europe as well as in Hungary, who know the specialities of this class.

The Hungarian RS Feva class association and the Hungarian Sailing Association is organising an RS Feva Coach Clinic course in 2018, and we invite you to register for it whether you are from Hungary or other European countries. Only 25 person can apply for the programme, so please register as soon as possible!

The course costs 20.000 HUF +  VAT / person

 

Proposed programme:

We would like to broaden our knowledge specifically in connection with the RS Feva class and boats with a lot of practical exercises. During the event, there will be 3-5 RS Feva boats with the required amount of sailors for each boat. The sailors will perform the exercises, given by the participants of the training programme. The fee of the two-day training includes 2 lunches and morning coffee. If you need help in connection with accomodation or travelling, let us know in your registration email or contact us via phone if necessary (+36 30 617 0730).

 

The intended programme of the training:

  • RS Feva settings
  • RS Feva boat boosting/tuning
  • RS Feva class regulations, rules, international assessment exercises
  • RS Feva racetrack (general rules for the size of the track, considering wind power and other factors, sorting/organising table, angles, wind power, length)
  • Sections of the race track and tactics for each section in the RS Feva
  • Choosing the crew
  • General knowledge of leadership in a training, security knowledge with support boat amongst Feva boats
  • RS Feva racing/competition tactics
  • Opponents, foreign teams, and the “best” (who are going to be our opponents, preparation for the RS Feva Eurocup and Hungarian Championship held in Balatonfüred)
